Ardram Kerala Award 2022–23
Vattamkulam Gram Panchayat secured Second Place at the District Level in the Ardram Kerala Award 2022–23, instituted to recognize Local Self-Government Institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance in the health sector.
The award is conferred based on a comprehensive evaluation of various health-related activities undertaken by Local Self-Government Institutions. The assessment includes the amount spent on the health sector, palliative care programmes, Kayakalp initiatives, and other health-related activities, based on which a priority ranking is prepared and institutions are selected for the award.
In addition, immunization activities, ward-level interventions, preventive healthcare measures, innovative initiatives implemented by the Local Self-Government Institutions, and waste management and disposal in public places are also important criteria considered for the evaluation.
The achievement reflects the commitment and effective interventions of Vattamkulam Gram Panchayat in strengthening public health services and promoting a healthy and clean community.
