Budget 2026–27
The Budget presented here for the year 2026–27 has been formulated by the Finance Standing Committee with the objective of utilizing revenue sources and grants for the welfare of the common people of our Panchayat, the overall development of the Grama Panchayat, agricultural growth, environmental protection, waste management, ensuring good governance in Panchayat administration, strengthening the democratic system, and achieving sustainable progress.
The development vision of Vattamkulam Grama Panchayat includes various projects covering the health sector, agriculture, education, drinking water, employment generation, social security, sanitation, road maintenance, youth welfare, women’s welfare, environmental protection, housing, and small-scale industries.
Development is ultimately evaluated based on the extent to which it benefits the welfare of the people. This governing committee is committed to implementing activities that ensure social justice, where people can experience the realization of a society free from hunger, with access to basic amenities, health security, and a safe shelter for everyone.
Recalling the great words of Mahatma Gandhi:
“Whenever you begin any work, remember the poorest person you have ever seen. Think how your action will benefit that person. Let the result of your work also be beneficial to the poorest.”
With this noble message in mind, these budget proposals are respectfully presented before you.
